Elizabeth Gillies

Gillies' acting career began around the age of 12 when she started going to casting opportunities in the local community. The path to becoming an actress began as a child as she began attending public casting events in the area. Gillies her first TV role was in a role as a recurring character on three seasons of The Black Donnellys. She has stated that she was not allowed to view the entire series in all its entirety as her parents believed it was not appropriate for her in the moment. [citation required] She had little roles in The Clique Harold as well as Locker 504 during 2008. This summer, Ariana, who would later appear in Victorious alongside her, was cast alongside her as Lucy for a Goodspeed production from Jason Robert Brown's 13 musical. The following year, 13, was moved to Broadway, which made it an unprecedented Broadway production to have an entire band and cast consisting of teenagers. Gillies received the major songs "Opportunity," "It Can't be true," and other smaller numbers like "Hey Kendra," "Getting Ready" and many more.
