
Gale was 18 when she took part in a modeling competition in Perth. After modeling for several years, Gale became famous in 1999 when she was featured in an advertisement campaign for Omnitel which is now Vodafone Italy. She appeared in their advertisements until 2006. The Australian Tourist Commission also hired the model in 2003 to serve as the "face for Australia" on the continent of Italy. Gale appeared on the covers of Australian Marie Claire and Grazia. In addition, she has appeared in Italian Maxim as well as Australian InStyle. Gale was featured on editorials of Australian Cosmopolitan, Vogue Italia and Italian GQ. Gale has been a runway model in Milan Fashion Week for Mariella Marani and Angelo Marani as well as Gianfranco ferre, Genny & Gai Matiolo. Gale can also be a devoted fan of numerous Australian fashion designers, including Colette Dinnigan, Kirrily johnston, Lisa Ho and Alex Perry. She was the fashion specialist for the Logies the award for an Australian TV awards, back in 2006. Gale quit modeling runways in January 2008 after 15 years. She walked her final catwalk in the David Jones Winter Collection Launch in Sydney a few weeks later. For her last look she donned Wonder Woman's costume from her Justice League of America movie that never came out. The film premiered in March 2011. Gale was back on the runway, and she closed Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival show. August of 2011 was Gale's 10th anniversary as a designer with department shop David Jones, the longest run fashion contract in Australia. Gale was a spokesperson for L'Oreal Paris the same month. Gale was a part of Beyonce Jennifer Lopez Gwen Stefani. Gale starred in an L'Oreal Shampoo commercial which aired across Australia, New Zealand, and Italy.
